Blue Sky Ecological Reserve, just NE of Poway off Espola road, has a nice little hiking trail through it. Signs of the Witch Creek fire of '07 are still evident in many of the Blackened Oak trees, but much of the wildlife and flowers have returned. Along the trail you will encounter a trail that leads south to Lake Poway or you can continue along up to Ramona Reservoir.
