One heck of a hike. Started out at Lake Poway Park and headed up. Thinking this was closer 8 miles than the advertised 6.3 (round trip) that I read somewhere. Definately has some good grades at times. The trail is well traveled for the most part. The switchbacks get a little thin. Shawn and I both finished off 2 Litres of water before we got back to park. Walking on the day before record heat in San Diego didn't help as it got pretty warm out there.
